Hi there! I'm Carly. I am known all over the internet as Antibromide. I think there are not enough hours in the day to make all the things I want to make, read all the books I want to read, and do all the things I want to do so I am constantly moving and making. At heart I am a fashion designer but I love to make things with LED's, take photos, read, knit, make papercrafts, solving Rubik's cubes, and spend time with my friends, family, and the sweetest orange tabby cat named Rufus that you will ever meet. I grew up in Iowa and currently live in Chicago.
I'm a total nerd for making clothing. My library of patterning and sewing books is starting to get ridiculous. I spend most of my time trying to make the absolute best clothing I can. Everything is made in my studio when ordered and some custom requests will be honored (just send me an email if you have a question or request). Nearly everything I wear I made so I know if things are easy to wear, easy to care for, and comfortable. The comfort issue has me slowly but surely changing everything over to natural (or mostly natural) fibers. Why spend your money on something on to find out it was poorly made, uncomfortable, or just plain unfortunate?
